Character's Mental Disorder: post traumatic stress disorder? anxiety, depression ..other possible unfound disorders among both brothers.
Anything else we should know about your character:
Benji and his brother Joel are close,. closer then normal twins should be. The two's family was normal until they were twelve and their father found them kissing. The two's over religious family ashamed of them locked them in the basement and took them food and gave them bible lessons. Making the two boys hate themselves, Benji became over protective of his brother who he was spending all his time with. The parents had wanted to make the two boys stop but that never happened they became closer then ever.
Their older brother Josh was never ashamed he was upset about what their parents were doing to his brothers. Josh was a twisted guy though and would sneak into the basement and force the two boys to touch each other in sexual ways, at first the two hated it and wanted it to end but they formed a deep bond together and soon all they thought about was making sure the other was okay.
When the boys were seventeen their father who often visited the bar down town came home and started beating on their little sister. Benji and Joel witnessed this and were terrified they stayed in the back living room clung to each other. Their older brother Josh tried to stop their father but he pulled out a knife and stabbed Sarah. Poor Sarah never made it past that first night in the ER.
Their Father was going away for a few weeks and they blamed a robber on Sarah's attack and seeing as all the children said thats what happened the judge never filed charges. When Joel and Benji's father was out one night and Josh was supposed to watch the twins he unlocked the door and dragged Joel out. He raped Joel while Benji could do nothing to stop him seeing as he was locked in the bath room. Their father got home shortly after Josh had finished getting his clothes back on and was about to put Joel back, But their father was very angry and turned on Joel, he beat him and tossed him back into the basement and Joel turned away from Benji not wanting him to touch him at all, Benji slowly started plotting his revenge on his family for hurting his brother and lover and best friend.
One night when Their father came home drunk again it was right as Josh was about to unlock the basement for some fun, His father shoved him aside and then grabbed a knife off the kitchen table but being drunk and sloppy he dropped the knife only glancing at it for a few seconds then, Their father turned on Joel and Benji reacted in his normal protective ways.
Benji grabbed the knife his father had abandoned and took it and killed his father for hurting his brother and lover and best friend. Benji never wanted to hurt his father but he had hurt Joel and no one hurt Joel no one touched Joel at all. The two were terrified and had no clue how to react their mother came home and tried to get them to go back into the basement having not witnessed the killings.
Benji and Joel were really scared and so they did the only thing they could to save them selves they shoved their mother into the basement and Benji wanting to get away and make everything okay for him and Joel stabbed their mother and dragged Joel away from the scene. He found Josh fixing his bleeding nose by the sink and he took out his hatred and anger in the most awful ways he could till his brother was dead, and then the two brothers ran.
They were found a few hours later curled up singing bible songs in the park rocking back and forth clinging to each other. Their Aunt signed them away and wanted nothing to do with them thinking the demons inside of them had caused them to kill their family.
